There was a thin smile that spread across Moffitt's face when he over heard Troy talking to Thomas. At least this time He gave a partial translation to Thomas. "Er sagte Dank, aber Sie fahren fort, es für ihn zu tragen." Moffitt was interrupted by Troy asking if he was ready.
He looked about and seeing everything in its place, said "I'm if you are." Before Moffitt climbed in the back of the jeep he turned to Thomas again. "Mehr Reiten. Sitzen Sie bequem, wenn Sie können."
"Are you ready, Tully?" he asked once he was in the back of the jeep. He was sure Troy wanted to get a move on. _________________ "Shall we spread a little alarm and despondency?" ~S2:E9
Troy climbed into the back of the jeep behind Moffitt, holding onto the fifty caliber gun. Hitch would stay here with Thomas, with orders to get out if the threesome failed to return. Tully would drive in as close as they could get drop Troy and Moffitt and wait.
Troy glanced at his watch oh three thirty, time enough to set the explosives on their timers and pull back to where Hitch waited, with the timers set to blow at oh five thirty just before sunrise, they would come in with the jeeps, making it seem like a far larger force was attacking, a swift decisive strike was their only option, get in, get out and get gone.
The drop off was achieved with no problem, with the moon sinking low Tully watched as the two dark clad men slipped away into the shadows. Moffitt would work his way toward the far tower with his share of the C2, while Troy booby trapped the lower tower and the heavy machinery. Then if time allowed they would move to the ammo cache and fuel dump. Moffitt's task too was to see if he could find out just what the Gestapo had hidden here.
The two men paused in a darkened area, Troy laid a hand on Moffitts shoulder "One hour . . . good luck" and then he faded away headed for his targets
