No worries! When I saw what time it was I figured you had gone as well!
As for me, I will be here most of the day but I am taking care of chores around the house and then writing more stories for Thomas. I just landed on a very interesting aspect of his mentor's, Bröcker (Thomas's mentor and father-figure) past. I stayed up really late this morning talking to my friend in England about it.
And to be honest, I wish I could credit that aspect of his past (his wife actually) to a very twisted imagination, but a majority of it is drawn from everything that I have overheard from my grandma's tv programmes that deal with real crime. It has often made me nauseous to listen to so we'll see how it goes writing about it. All I know is that it's just... I can't see how people can just assume that I have no concept of evil when I know all-too-well how evil exists in the hearts of all men, not just Nazis.

At the moment there's an international friendly match between Germany and Poland in which Lahm, Kroos, and Boateng are part of the starters for Germany. My favourite, Muller, is not part of the starters (darn) and Schweinsteiger and Manuel Neuer (our goalie typically for Germany and for Bayern) are not playing at all. So whilst I am interested in this game, it matters not in the world standings and most especially, for the Bundesliga, but hey, it's football and I'm going to watch it. I chose this over the USMNT vs Belgium. I know more of the German players (hee Poldolski, Gotze, and Klose from other teams) than the US and I love watching these guys. Such fire! Besides, this is in German! I'll be back during half-time.

I quit watching the match due to the streaming being extremely frustrating. I'm also irritated that the passion that I saw in Friday's match against Austria is completely gone and it just seems like the German players don't really care about this match at all. Not that I don't blame them, it IS a friendly... but still. If anyone didn't see that Polish goal coming, they weren't really paying attention, because German defence was failing (and not due to over confidence) and the goalie just... what the frell was he thinking?
Then I tune in to the US vs Belgium match and see that Belgium has scored a goal. Immediately people start blasting the coach, Klinsmann, which only agitated an already irked me. I snapped at them about the lack of quality defenders and a poor goalie because it's not like Klinsmann was on the field as a defender and the goalie... I think people would rather blame the coach than see their below-par MLS players take the heat like they should. A coach can only be blamed so much before it really comes down to the fact that our MLS players just can't compete with world players.
So I am back here for a short time until I eat lunch and head out to town.

Sorry, the match is driving you crazy. I've been watching a show that's new to me and am getting very involved in it, then I noticed some posts.... My mind is really focusing on only one thing at a time, but anyway... _________________ "Shall we spread a little alarm and despondency?" ~S2:E9

Eh, it's football. Doesn't mean I love Germany any less. In fact, watching the national team has got me curious to where Klose and Poldolski have gone (they are former Bayern players) and then I want to know where Mario Gotze plays. It was mostly the stream driving me crazy so in a way, I'm glad that the game wasn't exciting. I'm just extremely irritated by the comments on the US Soccer FB page though.
Heh by all means, watch your show! Better to devote your attention to that than try and juggle your focus and miss out on the excitement of a newfound show! It would be like me trying to roleplay in the middle of that Germany vs Austria match. It just didn't happen. I love being here, but football... yeah.

It's always neat to know where the players go. Why do I have a feeling the comments weren't worth reading....
Yeah, I know what you mean. I was hoping to mulit-task, only Numb3rs is such a great show and it's hard to do that with. So much for plans. But I did do a post just because I had to say something. _________________ "Shall we spread a little alarm and despondency?" ~S2:E9

It's the typical American attitude that when you bring in a new coach, things are going to immediately get better and that the US team is going to suddenly dominate everyone, which is a total joke for anything, football aside. It's just the typical attitude from Americans that make our country basically the laughing stock of world football.
They should have taken stock on how Manchester United easily beat every single one of our MLS clubs during the friendly (ManU's off-season) and THEN beat our so-called "all star" squad which basically was our USMNT (it's no different, we still were lousy). Our teams just aren't international material period. Bayern alone would walk all over the MLS. Mind you, I'd looove to see Bayern come here because I would seriously have no problem with letting go of several paychecks just to see one of their matches and HOPEFULLY get their autographs. Watching my favourite players play would be a dream come true... heee...
Ahhh that show, I've heard a lot of good things about it so that's very cool for you! I just haven't gotten into it.

I'm going to cry here for a bit... because you know how I was watching the Germany vs Poland match and I wound up exiting out of it after 65mins of play because I was tired of the skipping the poor defence/offence of the Germans? Also a major lack of my favourite player, Muller?
Well... according to the comments (and rough translations) Muller DID come in and not only that, but he was essential to the game? Was?!
If this is all true, I'm going to my corner and sobbing for a bit. I wanted to watch him play and for the last several matches I have been wanting to see him score a goal!

Me, I'm from USA's East Coast. Sports are not my speciality.... I can play them if I watch people long enough but that's about it. The only thing I can sort of sit through is Brasil (or Brazil as everyone else knows it) playing futebol (soccer) at the World Cup and that's not happening for 2 years. _________________ "Shall we spread a little alarm and despondency?" ~S2:E9

I'm from the West Coast and I generally follow the European leagues (ManU, Chelsea, Arsenal, FC Bayern, etc) but I also have my favourite MLS. I pretty much refuse to call it "soccer" because the US is the only country in the world to call it that. So it's not "European Football" it just plain is football. American football is well, not rugby.

Georgia. My family isn't into sports a whole lot so I just never really got into them. I mean I used to play some baseball, basketball, and futebol, but when my only futebol buddy moved I sort of lost my interest in playing long ago. _________________ "Shall we spread a little alarm and despondency?" ~S2:E9
