Hey, sorry for not adding more to the post. Don't know why I didn't have Moffitt ask questions.... I'll try to keep up with rping him (sort of forgot how to play him though), but I'm probably going to be in and out all day.
That's awesome about the futebol match! _________________ "Shall we spread a little alarm and despondency?" ~S2:E9

It's okay. I figured you forgot about that part so that's why I quickly wrote up that post, so you didn't have to back-track any. Hope that was all right!
I'll be off-and-on here too as I am catching up on my two writing blogs, working on my football scrapbook, going to Oktoberfest, and catching a nap before heading to work.
Tonight is Kasey Keller's last home match of the MLS season. He is our team captain and keeper. :'( Oh yeah, that's the Seattle Sounders.

Sounds like you are going to be baking up a storm! Which reminds me I'm going to have to go apple picking as well, some time this month. _________________ "Shall we spread a little alarm and despondency?" ~S2:E9

sorry, still here! I've had an interesting and long week. Tuesday was my first opportunity to get things done but because of an overwhelming match between Bayern and Napoli I wound up getting a headache and spending several hours in prayer, laying in bed trying to rid myself of the headache, or posting several things to help boost all our morale in regards to the unfortunate event that occured during that match. No, Bayern didn't lose. But yes, I am that wrapped up in football at the moment. As they might say in Afrikaans, "Dit is my hele lewe, my alles."
Anyways... today was my second chance at a catch-up so I did chores that I wasn't able to get done Monday or Tuesday. It was choir day so I got my two blogs caught up. I do write in my WWII blog, which is currently following stories of Thomas in an English POW camp, for anyone who is interested. There's no real battles that go on and my stories are more character-driven than plot, unlike here.
Back to the rp, I've been feeling weird about writing Thomas because in all of this, it's very out-of-character despite the fact that he's very much my character. It's just difficult right now because the plot is a bit more weighty than I can get into right now. It's no offence to anyone here it's just between the emotionally charged stories that I am writing, which deal with personal trauma that I'm trying to recover from as well as the stress from work, I'm just exhausted.
I'm sorry for letting everyone down but I felt that I needed to clear the air on this subject. I'm not sure how much longer I can handle this rp. I've been writing WWII stories non-stop, every single day since January 7th this year. I've endured being called everything from a Nazi, to a Nazi sympathiser... racial slurs and losing friends. I've been attacked on my FanFiction.net account and defriended because I like Germany as it is today and love the people of modern Germany.
It's getting to me, all this. Being able to write these POW stories has been a bit of a breather, because I don't have to have my characters in danger all the time and I can finally, FINALLY explore the things that have come into my life as a result of the military. I get attached to my characters and I've recently planned out the entire life of Thomas's best friend, Hansi (whom this rpg will probably never meet, sadly) and the end of his life has hit me rather hard.
It's as worse as the end for Broecker, Thomas's mentor (someone this rpg will also never meet due to the timeline) because with Broecker, what happens to him happened to a dear friend of mine and having to pull up those memories is difficult. What happens to Hansi though, it deals with one of the things that I fear and having to confront my fears head-on like this is quite often more than I can bear, especially considering my non-war-related fantasy stories in which I've managed to tear at old wounds... both relating to natural disasters that I've gone through but have felt too miserable and stupid to seek actual help over. It's my therapy since clearly no one wants to try and help me.
So this is where I am at and why it's taking so long for me to reply. Again, I'm sorry.

I fully understand that life interferes and am sorry to hear of your trials and tribulations hope things get better for you. All I ask is a heads up if there is going to be a long time between posts. That way I will only check back on a weekly basis rather than every couple of days
